Meet the Team

In a world that often rushes, we create spaces and moments that invite you to settle in, belong, grow roots, and take flight—at home and in life.

  • I’m new to small-space living, having moved from a spacious house in Raleigh to a cozy Capitol Hill row home.  My move gave me empathy for our clients who are downsizing or reorganizing their homes.

My grandmother's piano would not fit into our new home and I had to donate it. Parting with it felt like saying goodbye to a piece of family history. It was gut-wrenching and I couldn’t watch as movers rolled it out of the house. I now believe that donating it honored my grandmother’s legacy in a meaningful way by extending the piano's life. I’m happy it is creating memories in its new location.

Moving was hard work, both physically and emotionally. P.S. Nest looks forward to helping you create a space that truly reflects your personality and needs.

  • From Museum Curator to Curator of Home & Life

After more than 20 years preserving stories in museums, I now help people organize their homes in ways that honor their memories, simplify their lives, and make room for what comes next. Whether it’s thoughtfully decluttering cherished keepsakes or creating spaces that truly feel like home, I bring care, clarity, and a bit of joy to every project—because a well-curated home is a place where life can unfold beautifully.

Connection is the thread that runs through all my work. I love helping people strengthen bonds with family and friends, especially in moments of transition when a new game or a creative spark can open unexpected doors. I also enjoy planning museum outings that are paced to encourage curiosity and conversation. Given my 20+ years as a museum educator in DC, I have favorite spots that are off the beaten path and make wonderful half day excursions for visiting family and friends.

My hope is to make your life feel lighter and more meaningful, offering steadiness, curiosity, and a sense of belonging along the way.

the story behind the name

Sometimes, the right next step begins with a small, meaningful addition.

P.S. is the note that comes after the message—the thought you save for last because it matters most.

It’s the whisper of care, the personal touch, the reminder that connection often lives in the details.

For us, P.S. also reflects our names—Peyton & Suzi—and our shared belief that people deserve to feel seen, heard, and thoughtfully held in every experience. Whether we’re lingering with a work of art, gathering around a game table, or helping tend the spaces that support daily life, we bring presence, warmth, and intention to what we do.

We see connection, curation, and community-building as the finishing touches that give life shape—creating room not only for clarity and ease, but for curiosity, conversation, belonging, and joy.

If a P.S. is the loving line at the end of a letter, we like to think our work carries that same spirit: attentive, personal, and quietly meaningful.

Nest speaks to where all of this lives.

A nest is more than a home. It’s a place of rest and renewal, a space where you can linger, gather strength, and begin again. It holds memory and possibility side by side—supporting both who you’ve been and who you’re becoming.

From quiet moments in a gallery to lively tables filled with laughter, from thoughtfully tended spaces to shared cultural experiences, a nest makes room for connection in all its forms.

We chose the name P.S. Nest because it reflects what we witness—and hope to create—every day: spaces, experiences, and relationships that feel grounded, welcoming, and alive with meaning.

A nest is where you land.
A nest is where you connect.
And we’re here to support every part of that journey.
